Our Estate Merlot grows well and produces a consistent ripe crop of grapes. In partnership with local wineries and vineyards, our merlot production is increasing, thus giving us a wonderful glimpse into the future for this style of wine. In other words, expect to see more of it. Medium bodied, rich, and floral our merlot is unique to this region yet holds onto the classic feminine merlot characters like violets, chocolate, and light red cherry. Aged soley in french oak helps to round the finish and balance the wine. A soft acid profile insure that the wine does not wash out and food pairings and insures the wine can be drunk without feeling weighted.
