This Italian variety is finding its niche on the East Coast due to its adaptability in the vineyard, offering fruit that has a wonderful balance of sugar and acidity. Aromas of raspberry and blackberry with moderate acidity and low tannin. Aged ten months in 2nd, 3rd and 4th fill American Oak barrels.
